Hmmm....interesting

These are the things I learned today:

  1. When it's 100 degree heat index outside, the inside of your car is so hot that it can make the lid pop off a bottle of rubber cement.
  2. When it's 100 degree heat index outside, inside the car is so hot that half a bottle of water felt like a cup of hot coffee when touched.
  3. When it's 100 degree heat index outside, the inside of the car is so hot it can also blow the top off a mostly finished bottle of diet root beer which can then drain all over your car seat.
  4. When you try to put a contact into a plastic cleaner thing, you better do it quickly because when it gets a little dry, it will rip.  And it doesn't matter that you just opened the new contact this morning.
  5. I also learned that my paneling isn't a simple pull off the wall type thing.  It is tongue in groove (I think that's how you write it) which means removing it to check if my insulation is wet and moldy isn't going to be an easy task. However, the holes drilled in the bottom showed dry wood, so maybe I'll get lucky?
  6. Today I learned that I should have practiced getting up at 6:00 AM much earlier than today.....
